A stunning 19th Century Rosewood Jewellery Box with blank oval M.O.P set in the top and a matching M.O.P Escutcheon. It opens to reveal a Shot Silk lined interior, predominantly Blue/Green. It has a lift out Tray and the Lid has 'lockable' Pocket which opens to reveal Mirror and concertina pocket for Stationary items. There is a three sectioned Blue Velvet lined Secret Drawer in the base which locks with a Brass Pin.All original interior, Silk in good condition.Also has working Key. Dimensions are:-30cms Wide x 21.5cms Deep x 16cms High.C.1850 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
