A delightful Maroon/Red Enamel and SilverPendant/Pomander in the form of a Handbag, mounted on front with Marcasites which are also set in the Handle. The reverse is beautifully Pierced and it opens in order to put Perfumed Sponge.It is Marked 925 and also has French Silver marks, hangs on 925 Silver Chain.Excellent condition.2.5cms wide x3cms high.Difficult to date but probably 1940-50 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
