L.M.S.Steam Train Oil Painting On Canvas
This is an excellent quality oil on canvas painted in 2003 by artist signing K.J.Mc CABE lower right.
This wonderful scene shows the Locomotive with Tender departing the station platform with a young lady and her West highland terrier dog looking on from the opposite platform.
There are signals painted in front of a gantry over the railway line with hilly landscape backdrop beyond.
There is a L.M.S Ballast wagon immediately behind the Loco Tender which is painted covered with a canvas tarpaulins to prevent spillage of gravel.
Lovely colour and finishing with realism and character and obviously painted by a real train enthusiast who knows his stuff and have captured good detail accurately in a well balanced and interesting oil painting on artists canvas.
Looks fine without the need to frame, but this could be done for around £30-40 depending on the type of frame choice.
Overall Canvas Measurements
Height : 19.5 Inches ( 50 cm )
Width : 27.5 Inches ( 70 cm )
Sold as seen with no frame as the painting looks very presentable as is and just requires fastenings
to hang.
Delivery
