This is a fine quality Regency Revival bergere library armchair dating from the early 20th Century. The ebonised and parcel gilt armchair has canework in excellent condition and is raised on square reeded legs with smart brass castors. There are comfortable fitted cushions to the seat and back upholstered in quality cotton velvet in a shade of what was once black but is now attractively faded to a warm deep silver grey. A most attractive, elegant chair to look at and very comfortable to sit in.

The measurements are 93 cms high 62 cms wide and 80 cms deep.

The seat is 45 cms from the floor 50 cms between the arms and 42 cms in depth.
