An Arts & Crafts bobbin turned corner chair with rush seat, retailed through Liberty of London c1900. The chair features bobbin turned uprights and cross stretchers with original rush seat having little to no wear and tied neatly to the underside. The majority of these bobbin chairs have an ebonised finish, however this chair is unusual as it has a gilded finish which has mellowed into a lovely colour where it has worn. In good condition, no breaks or repairs.

Seat Height 37cm Our stock items are carefully selected by myself and I only buy good quality items which may need small repairs, a clean and a polish. I don't buy any items that need major restoration, but any loose joints are re-glued. Occasionally, some items may have small amounts of historic extinct woodworm, never enough to affect the integrity of the item, and is always treated as a matter of course. We try to describe and show our items the best we can, and we use studio lighting which sometimes lightens the colour slightly on some of the furniture. All lamps are rewired and PAT tested. Every item we sell we would have in our home (some of them have been!!) It is impossible to describe every item fully, so please feel free to email or call for more information or any queries you may have. The items will have no major defects but will show signs of normal age related wear and use. I would prefer the items to show its life rather than strip it and re-polish it, as it's only original once!
