A really lovely quality Leather and 9ct Gold bound Coin Purse.This beautiful little Purse is in mint condition and was made/retailed by the J.C Vickery,of Regent Street, It has their trading Name beneath a Crown in Gilt Tooling. It opens to reveal three inner sections, one of which has a securing Gilt Metal Clip. The interior is all Leather and is in excellent condition.This may have been used to keep Gold Sovereigns,or smaller denomination Silver Coins.The Gold Hallmark can be found impressed along the edge, too small to Photo,you can see '375' and some other marks each side.Size is 7cms x 5.5.cms.c. 1900/1910 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antiques Emporium,Lewes,E.Sussex and also The Arcade, The Corn Exchange,The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells..If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in either Shop.
