This delightful Victorian 18ct ring features 5 early modern brilliant cut diamonds, claw and grain set within a carved sided head.

The diamonds are judged as SI 1 clarity and H/I colour, with a total diamond weight estimate at approximately 0.40ct.

The ring is circa 1880/1890 and is a fine example of the popular carved sided mount with its flowing scroll-work under-bezel design.

The inside of the shank is stamped "18ct" but also has a later UK hallmark from the Edinburgh assay office proving the purity of the gold.

UK and Australia shank size L 1/2, US Size 5/78. The ring can be adjusted in our own workshop if required.
