Late Georgian Oak Metamorphic Chair Library Steps

A charming oak late Georgian metamorphic chair / library steps.
The oak has a beautiful colour throughout with a lovely well worn patina. The front stretcher is an honest sympathetic replacement and is wearing in well with the rest of the piece. There is a small loss to the top right back spindle, otherwise the chair/steps remain in a very good condition throughout with only minor wear commensurate with age.
A very attractive piece.
