Late 19thc Black Forest mirror
A late 19thc Black Forest oval mirror carved in linden wood (lime).
The frame is carved in the form of the branch of a tree with finely carved decoration of oak leaves & acorns.
This mirror is very versatile as it can be used as both a table mirror & also as a hanging mirror.
The back support is also in the form of a branch.
It has the original glass which has a bevelled edge.
On the reverse of the piece is a label from 'Army & Navy' store.
