Late 18th Century Silver Pair Cased Verge-Fusee
A fine Quality Silver Pair Case Verge-fusee Pocket watch in excellent condition and working fine taking a full wind, full English Hallmarks for London 1799 and, both the cases match for hallmarks
Engraved on the movement watchmakers name Joseph Robinson London
Marked WL on the inner case, which II believe is the case maker William Linsley
Beautiful hand made Verge fusee movement with wonderful pieced balance cock,
The watch is working with a strong deep tick , movement very clean having recently been serviced
Super condition to the white enamel watch dial without any major cracks or chips , original styled watch hands and with original bulls eye watch glass
The two silver case are still in very good condition , all hinges are good , outer case still with press button
The two cases fit together well , nice to have watch repairs labels, original watch stem with all fixings, Rare to find these watch in this condition and working, please bear in mind these early
watch are not like modern watches for time keeping, comes with a old watch key from Victorian times, lovely original watch 223 years old George 111 period when London watchmakers were busy hand making these watches,
