This is a very attractive Victorian period overmantle or floor standing mirror of grand scale. The imposing mirror has a handsome rococo crest with beautiful scrolling detail. The gilding is all original and the scrolls and gesso detail are all intact and undamaged. The mirror glass is the original bevelled Victorian 3/8" plate glass which is in really good, clean condition.
The overmantle mirror has good proportions measuring 174 cm high by 100 cm wide.
A really nice original example in super order.
