A magnificent large antique Victorian carved oak overmantle mirror dating from circa 1890. The leaf, fruit and cabochon-carved pediment, above a square mirror plate within fluted pilasters. The deeply carved entablature features fruit and a pair of dragons, the mirror plate is bevelled and appears original. A really good quality and impressive mirror.

Good condition. Good colour and patina to the oak. Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Some very slight foxing and loss of silvering in places to the mirror plate.
