Large Scottish Oak Desk Chair
Circa 1860. An early Victorian Scottish oak library chair. The shaped and curved top rail with an extended C scroll beneath, the back rail similar in larger scale. The shaped arm with padded arm rests supported on curved uprights, the large stuff over seat with a ribbed seat rail to the front, back legs are slightly out swept, front legs are turned, ring turned and carved, finishing on brass cups with original brass castors beneath.
