Now this is a impressive large Louis XV style carved mirror, finished in white and standing an impressive 225 cm high.

The frame is richly carved with Rococo style decorative detailing , including flowing acanthus leaves, scrolling foliage and a dramatic pierced crest centred with a shell motif. The carving continues down the sides and across the bottom , all sitting on cabriole feet, giving the piece a strong presence.

Finished in white, the carved detail stands out beautifully and gives the mirror a slightly softer look compared with traditional gilt examples. There are also small areas of wear to the finish, which only add to the overall character of the piece.

Because of its large scale and striking Rococo form, this mirror works brilliantly as a statement piece in a hallway, boutique interior, hotel, or dressing room, while also being ideal for use in a retail or showroom setting.
