Great size Regency gilt overmantle mirror with four mirror plates, reeded Corinthian style columns.
The mirror has been re gilded at some point and has a lovely finish with a more "mellow" tone than a full or bright gilt finish.
This is a larger mirror than usual and also unusual to have the top full width mirror plate as you tend to find a classical figures plaque here, but this mirror give you a much more effective "reflective" area.
Measuring:
30 3/4” or 78cm high
54 1/2” or 138.5cm wide at the base
2 1/2” or 6.5cm deep at the base

59” or 150cm wide at the cornice
4 3/4” or 12cm deep at the cornice Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
