Very decorative large English Regency dry scraped paint and gilt overmantle mirror with all original mirror glass, circa 1820.
Fabulous centre piece for any mantle but will hang well over a sideboard or console table.
The finish is wonderful, scraped back to give this effect that will compliment any style.
Although scraped, the surface is completely stable and will remain as is here.
Measuring:
37 inches or 94 cm high
62 1/2 inches or 159 cm wide at the cornice
59 3/4 inches or 152 cm wide at the plinth Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
