Large Persian carpet, eight feet wide by over eleven feet long. Finely knotted with a soft pile. Featuring a dense traditional garden pattern with scores of flowers and plant motifs symmetrically arranged across tessellating cartouches in rich red and pale blue. Within a broad border with multiple bands of floral decoration. Short fringe at each end. Labelled made in Iran on the rear. Excellent condition with good strong even colour across the carpet.
