Large painting of a Dutch milkmaid with an unruly cow, dated 1964. A humorous slightly ribald farmyard scene. As she struggles with the cow on a rope the milk pail is knocked over in the grass and her blouse opens to partially reveal her breast. Painted in oil on canvas and signed Tackx ’64 in the lower right hand corner. Very good condition, presented unframed on the original stretcher.
