A handsome vintage high back open armchair / desk chair in oak with barley twist legs dating from circa 1930s. The chair is in a lovely figured oak with carved top rail above shaped back splats with barley twist side supports. The arm supports, legs and front stretchers are also barley twist and the drop in seat has been newly re-upholstered in a dark brown velour fabric. Good condition and very solid and sturdy.
