Large Mediterranean scene oil painting on board after the great French belle epoque painter Gaston La Touche (1854 – 1913) c.1960. Almost four feet wide and painted in a loose impressionistic style. On a shady path beside the coast large hydrangea flowers fill the foreground whilst people walk in dappled sunlight and children play on the beach. Excellent condition, presented in the original frame with black painted surround.
