Large Lion Statue

This is a handsome plaster statue of a male lion, he is a handsome and fearsome character
The Lion is in a guarding position sitting on a small plinth, he has the most wonderful patina, which looks like and feels like old verdigris bronze

The statue is in good condition, with only minor signs of wear, he dates from the middle of the 20th Century
Our handsome Lion is 16” wide, 43” high and about 22” wide
