Large impressive French gilt mirror to restore gilt mirror french mirror overmantle mirror %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This is a large and impressive French gilt overmantle mirror, circa 1900.
Currently, it is unrestored, or "shabby chic" as you can see from the photos, originally, it would have been stunning, very good quality.
The frame is solid and secure, the glass is original too and largely unblemished with only very small areas.
You could leave the mirror exactly as it is, it would make a great decorative impact. Or, you could restore it to the level you are happy with.
Fully restored, this mirror would be in the region of £1500, but priced "as is" here at £495
Measuring:
71 1/2'' / 182cm high
46'' / 117cm wide

I can arrange delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses, usually around £75, but please send me your postcode to check if you are coastal / remote
