Circa 1990s, large hooded Orkney chair. With oat straw interwoven with marram grass back, and mahogany frame with classic Orcadian arm and drop-in seat. The full size drawer to the base with cast brass handle, all on square, chamfered legs. The makers name to the seat underside of Robert Harcus Towers, a well known Orcadian chairmaker (still in operation).
