Large French antique gilt overmantle mirror (a12065)

Very nice quality large French gilt overmantle mirror, circa 1880 and with a good decorative frame, moulded throughout, finishing with the scallop and floral drapes to the very top.
The mirror glass has been replaced ( I have reflected this in the price ) so you have a very clean and fresh mirror glass wirth no blemishes etc.
Great as a hall mirror hanging above a chest as shown here, but equally gorgeous sitting on a mantle as intended originally.
The frame is in good condition, not a very "bright" gold but a lovely melolow tone with some of the old gold leaf highlighting
Easy to hang as not too heavy
