Impressively proportioned 19th.c. woven tapestry panel dated 1852. Depicting the presentation of Jesus at the temple beautifully worked in bright woolwork tapestry. Presented in the original heavy card mount and gilt frame almost 6 feet wide. Identified on the mount as having been produced for the Augustine Convent of Lorettes and dated 1852. Minor wear to the frame.
