A lovely large mahogany bookcase cabinet. We date this cabinet to the mid 20th century.

The cabinet sits on six cabriole legs with pad feet, four at the front and two at the rear.

The cabinet consists of three cupboards, the large central cupboard has two side hinged doors and is fitted with four drawers arranged two over two at the top over an adjustable shelf. The central cupboard is flanked by a single door cupboard at each side each with three adjustable shelves.

The cabinet’s top surface is slightly raised above the central cupboard. The cupboards are fitted with locks (key supplied).

The cabinet has an overall height of 46.5" (118cm), a width of 80" (203cm) at the base and a depth of 17" (43cm) at the deepest.

This lovely mahogany cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a small area of minor scratches at the rear of the raised area.

This remains a very stylish and elegant mahogany cabinet, it will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
