Large Coat of Arms of Brighton Oak Wall Plaque / Shield


The plaque is made in sold Golden Oak and painted in colour, it has “IN DEO FIDEMUS” (The motto of Brighton) written on a scroll beneath a blue shield with Birds and Dolphins, around this we have feathers 2 more Dolphins and the bust of a knight
The shield is all in good condition, on the back there is evidence of an old provenance and it is dated 1959

The Shield is 22” high and 18” wide and 1” thick
