Very large ‘Jacobethan’ style oak court cupboard c.1930. Almost eight feet long and very heavily constructed in solid oak throughout. In two pieces with a shallower top cupboard featuring two doors at the centre flanked with superb floral pattern marquetry work inlaid panels within carved arch surrounds. Over a deeper base with three large drawers (one with dividers) above a long cupboard with three doors. Dental cornice with floral frieze over an exceptional carved front with caryatid figures and massive cup and cover supports. Carved drawer fronts and door panels with male and female heads in profile. Turned knobs, panelled sides and oak back and floor boards. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
