Large Antler Horn and Silver Magnifying Glass Antique English Sterling %%alt5%%
A large example, measuring 10 1/4" in length with a glass diameter measuring 4".

The antler horn handle is finished with a solid or sterling silver terminal, both sides with a fluted design, both this and the sterling silver ferrule are hallmarked for Sheffield 1891.

The nickel framed glass is of course new, unmarked but probably by Hilkinson, making it a very usable piece, without damage, clear and with a good magnification.

A superb, grand and impressive desk accessory in excellent condition.
