Large Antique Photo-Engraving 'Three Offers'
Artist - Engraved after the original by Alfred W. Strutt (1856-1924)
Title - Three Offers
Details - Antique photo-engraving, published by Arthur Tooth & Sons and Stiefbold & Co. in 1897. The engraving looks to be at least partially hand-coloured and features an attractive hunting scene where a lady has fallen in the water and has several gallant offers of rescue. Glazed and framed in a modern wooden frame.
Condition - Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The paper is a little discoloured with age. The frame has some grubbiness and wear and is broken to one bottom corner.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Image Size - 73cm by 44cm
Frame - 107cm by 80cm, 3.5cm deep.
