A fine and well proportioned antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1870.
Retaining its original mercury silvered mirror plate with attractive light foxing mainly at extreme base of plate. One small 1" surface scratch.
Frame water-gilded to the very highest of standards using 23.5 carat genuine gold leaf.
Original backing board.
