Large Antique Gilt Framed Overmantle Mirror Gilt Overmantle Victorian %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
An attractive Victorian mirror. We date this mirror to the second half of the 19th century.

The mirror consists of a large central mirror flanked either side by carved columns. The mirror has a decorative top with attractive mouldings.

The rear of the mirror is fitted with brackets for securing to the wall.

The mirror has been restored and regilted at some time in the past.

The overmantle mirror has a height of 44" (102cm), a width of 35.5" (90 cm) at its widest and a depth of 5.5" (14cm) at the deepest.

This lovely Victorian gilt overmantle mirror remains in good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks to some of the edges and there have been repairs to the top outer edges in the past.

This remains a stylish and elegant Victorian overmantle mirror which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
