This is a good large antique gilt frame with its original gilded finish dating from around 1930.
The frame measures 92 cms by 78 cms overall. It has an inner gilt slip with an aperture of 75 cms by 59.5 cms with the opening at the back to receive the painting being 77 cms by 62 cms.
It would be possible to remove the slip which results in an aperture of 77.5 cms by 62 cms with an opening for a painting of 80 cms by 65 cms at the back.
