Large Antique C19th Engraving of George IV
Title - George the Fourth
Details - Antique engraving, probably nineteeth century in date (although please note that we have not removed it from a frame). Mounted, glazed and framed in an antique frame with lovely bird's eye maple veneers.
Condition - Overall in fair condition with some wear and damage consistent with age. The print has some discolouration, foxing (brown spotting), marking, tearing and creasing. It looks to have been repaired in places, although please note that we have not removed it from the frame. The mount is also badly discoloured and has some foxing. The frame has scuffing, wear and damage. There is some shrinkage cracking to the corners and the frame is beginning to come apart at one top corner - the glass and mount have moved here. There is some chipping and scratching to the frame veneers.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Visible Image Size - 61cm by 42cm
Frame - 87.5cm by 69.5cm, 3.5cm deep. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
