Large 18 Kt Yellow Gold H. Hamacher Open Face
Pocket Watch - Made in Amsterdam, Holland 1830

An 18 Kt yellow gold open face pocket watch with original key, made by H Hamacher in Amsterdam, Holland in 1830. The watch is complete with original key and box by E. Monasch jeweller in Rotterdam.

DIAL: The silvered dial with guilloche engraved centre has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has golden hands and is signed in the upper centre: “H. HAMACHER”. The dial is protected by an original glass.

MOVEMENT: The cylinder Lepine layout movement has a three-arm balance and blued screws. The movement is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

CASE: The watch lies in an 18 Kt yellow gold case with an engine turned and monogram free finish. The cuvette is decoratively signed: “Hamacher, Amsterdam, Echappement A Cylindre, Quatre Trous En Rubis Fin”. The inner side of the case is numbered: N°4712 and stamped AB.
