A fascinating antique Jugendstil/ Art Nouveau amethyst and chrysoprase pendant necklace by Ella Nielson, circa 1900.

The wonderful piece is crafted into a symmetrical curvilinear natural design of water lilies which circle around beautiful high cabochon amethyst and complimenting round green chrysoprase translucent stones. Nature was the main source of inspiration in Art Nouveau jewelry.

Ella Nielsen Art Nouveau jewelry pieces have been displayed in jewelry museums around the world and currently in the Jewellery in Pforzheim ( Germany ).
