Expertly carved from richly grained wood, this Japanese Kibori Kuma captures a bear in motion, salmon gripped firmly in its jaws. Originating in Hokkaido, these expressive sculptures rose to prominence in the early 20th century, blending Ainu traditions with Japanese folk artistry.
