Japanese type Kanzashi Hairpin, signed.
Late Meiji Era.
Japanese silver pin (not tested). Coral flat head with abalone inlays (or possibly early plastic?), and silver rim. One side decorated with 3-D chrysanthemums in gilt silver, the other has bronze-inlaid chrysanthemum symbol and Buddhist inscription in silver, which translates as “Purple cloud”.

Total length ca. 12 cm, diameter of the head 4.2 cm.
Very good condition for age.
