A pair of incredibly rare Georgian aquatint etchings, which depict horse racing scenes. Drawn & engraved by James Pollard, published by Robert Pollard & Sons, Holloway near London, 1824 and 1825. Featuring original hand-coloured detail - skillfully executed in watercolour at the time. Complete with handsome antique frames - ready to display. The pictures are incredibly atmospheric, and will bring character to any room. An unusual example of Georgian British Sporting Art. 190 years old.
