Superb oil painting by J. E. Waller signed and dated 1885. Named 'The Cavaliers Rest' this oil on canvas depicts 2 cavaliers having a drink outside an inn with a bar maid and stable boy attending a horse in the background. The gilded frame has a few imperfections (shown in photos) however the painting is in excellent condition. A fantastic painting that will look striking on any wall.
