An early 19th Century unusual mahogany Invalid wheelchair by the award winning manufacturer John Ward of Leicester Square, London. (The wheel hubs with makers name). The rattan carved bak with down swept arms which have leather and brass stud arm rests. The drop in seat is old buttoned leather, the retractable sliding foot rest has been re-upholstered to match the old. The large wheels are brass bound with supporting brass wheel to the back. In very good condition. More photos available.
