Impressive Rectangular Antique Gilt Mirror.
This is a good quality, mid 19th century gilt mirror with the original mercury plate glass, which is in very good condition.
The gilt wood mirror frame is in the period gilt finish and features a twisted rope like gesso work around the outer edge and with a decorative gesso work on the inner slip.
This large rectangular mirror can be hung both portriat and landscape ways.
It could be used as a dressing mirror as is so tall.
