Pretty much everything about this serpentine demi lune card table is impressive. The book matched burr walnut on the top is excellent, the shape is most unusual and attractive and the cabriole leg pedestal is superb. Really nice carved detail, but not over the top, is portraying the ability of the Victorian maker who was showing his skills back in the 1800s. The colour of the timber is lovely in the rich but mellowing walnut, and the relined interior will let this card table be used today.
A rather special example that we are delighted to be able to offer for sale. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
