Huge C19th gilt mirror 8 x 5 gilt mirror over mantle mirror
An exceptional and rare opportunity to purchase an incredible antique mirror, circa 1860 and in good original condition.

As you can see from the images, this is a very large frame, measuring 8' x 4'10'' and the glass is original, the hazing you can see in the images is how it is in reality, not bad, but it has that lovely aged feel / look to the glass

Some restoration to the frame which is not surprising due to the size of the mirror, all in good order now

I am displaying the mirror as a large dressing mirror, but originally this is likely to have been hung "landscape" in a very large hall / dining room perhaps

Certainly an impressive mirror and a rare find, great decor piece!
