This is a very attractive Howard style armchair which dates from around 1880. The upholstered chair has a beautiful deep swept style to the frame and is supported on neat turned walnut legs with ceramic castors. This is nicely covered in bird print cloth which suits it well.
The chair is a generous size, measuring 82 cms high, 66 cms wide and 82 cms deep. The seat height is 34 cms, it is 50 cms between the arms and it is 56 cms deep. It is extremely comfortable and is in excellent condition throughout.
