A one off kilim upholstered howard & sons club armchair. The tomato red anatolian kilim with an unusual ''triffid'' like vegetal pattern. Stamped serial numbers to rear leg with all four castors howard and sons,london. The armchair circa 1870-80. The kilim,west anatolia,last quarter 19th century. The late great robert kime would have been pleased with this one! We adore it anyway. Not the cheapest howard club on the market but certainly with it''s own unrivalled authentic look!
