Mezzotint Coloured Engraving of Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson. c1810
Well presented engraving of Nelson taken from the original oil painting by John Hoppner RA which was commissioned in 1801 by the Prince of Wales.
Set within the original frame with verre eglomise gilt lined mount.
All of which looks original and contemporary to the engraving, which is clear and crisp without any signs of foxing or damage.
The original gilt frame has slight wear to gilt and minor distress as expected for the age.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
