We have here a most unusual high chair or bar chair with a very fashionable worn leather seat. This chair from around 1900 we guess but would not be surprised if it were quite a bit earlier. It is in satin birch but with the well seasoned timber and patina has quite a walnut colour. Good graining as one can see from the photograph. It is a little better looking now as it has had a clean and a rewaxing. Although we have had these chairs before I dont recall having had one quite as nice as this as they usually are pretty simple if indeed you can find one anyway..........sorry now sold................ Dimensionsseat 30ins high and 18.5 inches wide. overal its 48ins tall.
