Henry VIII Vellum Quittance referring to Katherine Bokenham and Thomas Bokenham, Alderman of Norwich, Norfolk, dated 1514.
The de Bokenham Family, an old and established Norfolk & Suffolk Family. Sir Hugh de Bokenham lived at Snettisham Manor, Snettisham, Norfolk as early as 1286. Other members of the de Bokenham family lived in Great Livermere, Great Thornham & Thornham Magna Suffolk. They were Lords of the Manor, High Sheriffs, Alderman and Members of the Clergy.
