Henriette Corkran, (d,1911) was an artist and published writer. She studied art in Paris and at the Slade in London circa 1890. She exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy on 18 occasions as well as the Walker, the Society of Women Artists etc. Her family mixed with society figures and artists many of whom whom she wrote about. These included Charles Dickens, John Ruskin, Thackeray, the Browning family etc. who featured in “Celebrities and I” published by Hutchinson in1902.

The portrait is in good condition, not lined and is in the original plain oak frame. Canvas is 20 x 32 inches. Preferred method of payment is by bank transfer (UK faster payment or to our €Euro account) which incurs no additional costs or charges.
